摘要:

沙漠生态学是生态学的重要分支,是研究沙漠和沙漠化地区生物与环境相互作用规律的学科。立足于沙漠生态学概念及其产生的基础,重点分析了其学术思想的形成与发展过程;围绕学科理论与实践指导作用,分析了沙漠生态学的创新性贡献;最后,展望了沙漠生态学学术思想形成对现代生态学学科发展和生态实践的启示。沙漠生态学依托沙漠研究的相关站点或基地平台,以100多年的研究成果为基础,历经早期探索、学科初创、深入发展和理论成熟过程,逐渐发展成为具有区域特色的生态学新兴交叉学科。沙漠生态学的学科发展与学术思想的形成极大丰富了生态学学科体系和理论框架,创新性深化了生态学学科研究内容,在重大生态工程实践与生态保护中做出了重要的应用性贡献,并拓展了生态学人才培养体系框架。面向未来,沙漠生态学的系统性思维与跨学科合作、可持续性与长远视角、理论创新与实践的紧密结合等特点,将对生态学学科理论创新发展、脆弱生态系统修复与生态工程建设国家战略以及全球环境治理与保护具有重要启示作用。

Abstract:

Desert ecology is an important branch of ecological science that investigates the interactions between organisms and their environment in desert and desertified regions. Based on the conceptual foundations and historical background of the discipline, this paper analyzes the formation and development of academic thought in desert ecology. It highlights the innovative contributions of the discipline in both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, and explores its implications for the future of modern ecology. Rooted in long-term research efforts over more than a century and supported by various research stations and field platforms, desert ecology has evolved through four key stages: early exploration, foundational establishment, in-depth development, and theoretical maturation. It has emerged as a regionally distinctive and interdisciplinary subfield of ecology. The development of desert ecology and the shaping of its academic thought have significantly enriched the ecological discipline and theoretical system, deepened research content through innovation, and contributed to ecological engineering practices and biodiversity conservation. Moreover, it has expanded the structure for training ecological talents. The discipline’s emphasis on systematic thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainability, and the integration of theory with practice offers valuable insights for advancing ecological theories, restoring fragile ecosystems, supporting national ecological strategies, and promoting global environmental governance and protection.
